Signature Notary Services

1

General Notarizations

A general notarization is a standard notary service where a notary public verifies a person’s identity, witnesses the signing of a document, and applies an official seal to help prevent fraud.

These are typically quick, straightforward appointments that don’t involve large document packages like loan closings.

  • Common Documents Include:

  • Power of Attorney

  • Affidavits & sworn statements

  • Consent forms (travel, medical, etc.)

  • Contracts & agreements

  • School or employment documents

  • Vehicle title transfers

  • Financial documents

2

Jail & Hospital Notarizations

Jail and hospital notarizations are specialized mobile notary services where you travel to a correctional facility or medical setting to notarize documents for individuals who cannot leave their location.

These appointments require extra care, patience, and professionalism due to restricted environments and sensitive situations.

  • Common Documents Include:
  • Power of Attorney

  • Medical directives / living wills

  • Estate documents

  • Affidavits

Loan Closings/Signings & Refinances

A loan closing is the final step in a lending transaction where a borrower signs all required documents to finalize a loan.

As a notary (often called a Loan Signing Agent), my role is to:

  • Verify identity

  • Witness signatures

  • Notarize required documents

  • Ensure documents are completed correctly (no blanks, missed signatures, etc.)

  • Return documents properly (scanbacks, shipping, etc.)

  • Common Closings include:

  • Purchase Loans

  • Refinance

  • Seller Package

  • HELOC
